I decided to finally embrace my inner kid and try out the local trampoline park for some weekend fun. After a bizarre warm-up involving twists, jumps, and a few awkward attempts to channel my inner ninja, I felt like I was on top of the world. With all the unearned confidence of a circus performer, I launched myself into the air for a dramatic flip that would’ve earned me a 10… if only I had executed it well. Instead, I ended up landing not just off-balance but also on the edge of the trampoline, sending me rolling off into a soft pile of foam blocks like an awkward human pinball.
Picture it: the lifeguards in their high chairs taking bets on how many foam blocks I could scatter in one dismount. And as I lay there, half-buried in colorful cubes, I could only laugh at my catastrophic performance, which solidified my score at a solid 3/10. My friends, doubled over in laughter and clutching their sides, declared me the reigning champion of “Most Dramatic Exit,” while I quietly vowed never to underestimate the gravity of gravity again.
