What could possibly go wrong while doing a wheelie on a busy street?

I’m still slightly impressed…

I’m impressed with how the guy he hit was perfectly fine, and fairly unfazed, just looking at him like “WTF?!”

Looks like the dudes bike took the impact, lucky SoB.

I mean he looks like he just rode up the tire. Doesn’t even look like anything else was hit.

Part of his rear plastics is definitely missing because of it. Other than that the bikes in solid standing

It was very acrobatic. 6/10. I deducted points for the landing.

Found the East German judge.

Considering his wheel spinning forwards contacted the other wheel spinning forwards, im super curious of the horsepower he achieved in that moment.

You would take the speed the wheelie guy was going and multiply it by the speed the guy hit was going, then divide that by the circumference of the rear wheels of both bikes. Then throw that number in the trash because I have no idea how to figure that out.

The second you were mentioning ongoing speed in a HP calculation, I was already waiting for a shittymorph-esque fakeout

The kids who made the craziest hot wheels tracks totally understood the math.

I mean, it’s pretty much an instantaneous doubling of HP with very little loss since I can only imagine how awesome that rubber on rubber traction would be. These kinds of bikes top out at something like 40 to 50 HP, but they’re also light as fuck, which is why they’re favored by people who like to do wheelies and shit. So, probably like 25 HP in cruise, which instantly bumped up to 50 HP, and it’s pretty much that instant acceleration that shot him up like that.

Nah, has nothing to do with the horsepower, it has to do with the rotational inertia of the wheels and motor being suddenly converted into vertical movement. And neither bike was wide open throttle, so they where only producing a few horsepower (<10) to maintain those slow speeds

If he’d landed that it would’ve been amazing.

always fun to see other people do stupid shit

It’s almost frustrating how well it worked out.

Couldn’t do that again if he tried!

Yeah, I totally agree and I considered that while typing, but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt just from the clip we have seen.

I wish the guy who put the stupid voice over would’ve at least been on the back of dudes back who did a wheelie.

D
Davess010 • 6 points
Yeah if the wheelie guy went a little slower the other guy would have broken his neck or back (or both)

O

dude the bike cleared the other guy that was awesome

What do you think?
