Improved shot of my friend’s feet

A
His toes don’t touch the ground? That’s crazy, I need to see this dude walk.
T
Without toes he probably wobbles like a weeble. Wonder how often he falls down.
S
Never!
L
Weebles wobble, but…
H
This dude definitely falls down
O
nah our dude descends. look at those graceful little nubs
R
It’s in the name man. They weeble, and wobble but they don’t fall down. You can watch the documentary here https://youtu.be/dFzhjnjXc2o?si=NYyoJqR08LKENXM-
W
I really thought I was about to be rickrolled. Now I just feel really old:(
A
I picture Danny Devito’s Penguin
R
Bet he walks like Cotton Hill
D
I killed fiddy men!
3
But did he kill fitty men?
T
He ain’t got no shins?
E
Blown clean off by natzees!
P
Mine don’t either. I have a cavus foot deformity. As you walk your feet roll forward and that’s when your toes touch the ground, but my balance while standing is definitely at least a little impaired.
C
Can you balance on one foot? And if so, can you do so with your eyes closed?
P
I haven’t tried, but I can balance on the ball of my toes as my foot-toe joint makes an almost 90 degree angle. I can catch a thrown object while doing it too.
A
…and hop. In a circle. Reciting Pi…backwards.
T
Ooh that one’s tricky. I always forget what the last digit of pi is
R
I scrunched my toes just to make sure I still had them.
S
Potato Feet and PotaToes.🥔
K
BOIL EM MASH EM STICK EM IN A STEW
D
It looks like a video game bug where the clothes show the person’s skin textures instead.
N
That dude’s getting many fans here, he should start doing OF
D
Only Feet
A
His feet look like how I draw feet.
K
I just realized that Tesla truck is how I drew cars when I was like 3
T
How they’re rendered on PS1 graphics
V
ps1 had more polygons than that
S
I remember Laura Crofts pointy boobies. kinda like Madonnas back then.
B
Bro that has been said since the first blueprints dropped on that vehicle back in 2020.
S
No you didn’t lol that’s been a meme for like 5 years 😂
Y
“Just realized” lol. Dude is practicing for the pathological liar Olympics.
I
Rob Liefeld? Is that you?
B
What his posture looks like?
[
Like a Wacky Wavy Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube Man at full tilt
G
Ok so what’s the deal? Why the little feet? Is it like a medical condition or were his feet stuck in tiny shoes?
[
I’ve been told by numerous people on here that it’s a condition called Charcot Foot, and is related to diabetes and or very poor circulation.
R
Oh, I thought he bound his feet like a Chinese girl
[
I don’t ask him what he does behind closed doors, so let’s not rule it out at this point.
B
Can you save some of that charming humor for the rest of us, please.
S
I like your antique lamps!
[
Thanks! I’ve literally chosen a lamp over sustenance more than once.
P
Are you *sure* you aren’t just some giant moth?
P
Would explain his Junebug friends feet
S
Bound feet are the other way around, they broke the foot and folded it down till the toes just about touched the heel.
L
12 years I’ve known about this and I STILL cannot read the description without physically cringing.
D
You’re correct. The lack of any arch, the inward tilt of each ankle and a precipitating cause like long, uncontrolled diabetes can result in that. Results in complete destruction of the midfoot with crazy compensation techniques (like what you’re describing) when walking. His toes actually aren’t the problem and were were probably normal looking before his feet were affected
G
Looks more like a developmental condition like brachymetatarsia rather than Charcot. Look how short the front of his foot (forefoot) is compared to the back half of his foot (rearfoot). It looks like he has intact/normal midfoot bones, which are almost always affected by Charcot due to deforming forces on the foot from walking/weightbearing. It doesn’t look like a foot that had normal forefoot bones which were then destroyed by Charcot, rather looks like he never had normal forefoot bones to begin with. Were his feet always this way?
O
Was typing nearly the exact same response. I see a lot of Charcot foot at my clinic and it has never looked like this. The feet are too short, too clean, and too symmetrical. This definitely looks more congenital like a HOX gene or something. That’s not to say it CAN’T BE Charcot, just that it would be an odd presentation.
