A staff member at the office requested a ladder for a property we oversee, and this is what arrived.

**What Happened:** One Tuesday afternoon at the office, our overly enthusiastic assistant, Lisa, decided to order a ladder for the property we manage. We needed to do some maintenance on the roof, and she claimed that a fancy new ladder would make things much easier. Fast forward to the delivery—a giant inflatable slide arrived instead! Apparently, Lisa had accidentally selected “party supplies” instead of “construction.”

**Why It’s Funny:** Watching everyone try to figure out how a slide could help with roof repairs was a sight to behold. We stood around, scratching our heads while imagining the bemusement of the delivery driver who probably thought he was dropping off some secret office gear. As we pulled out the inflatable contraption, I couldn’t help but think how much more fun it would be to use the slide for team-building exercises than to scale a dull old ladder. Who knew that maintenance could come with a side of laughter?

I thought $2.50 for a ladder was too good to be true.

At least it’s easy to store! Just put it in your wallet in case of emergencies.

I’d like to think it’s some malicious compliance to deal with stingy management.

I think that the problem may have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf.

We had an office administrator that did this on accident. We needed a bunch of clipboards for our annual inventory. She goes to the vendor website and finds an absolutely screaming deal for 3-packs of clipboards. She was so excited to tell everybody how she got them on sale and how great a deal she found. They came in the day before inventory and hoo-boy, those were the cutest little clipboards you ever did see. We all had a great laugh at her expense, the boss ran to the store and got us some usable ones. Those clipboards are still floating around the building, so everytime I saw one it would give me a good chuckle.

Even if it didn’t say it, you’d have to be an idiot to look at that picture and think it’s a full sized ladder.
