Stone spheres

It all started when Dave decided to impress his friends with a DIY backyard bowling alley. He thought using actual stones as bowling balls would give him an edge — you know, since “real” bowling balls were for amateurs. Naturally, calamity ensued. With the first roll, he threw a hefty rock that veered off course and smashed into the neighbor’s prized gnome collection, sending ceramic gnomes flying like they were in the Olympics. His friends erupted in laughter while Dave stood there, mouth agape, watching his bowling career crumble like one of those gnomes.
The absurdity of using literal stones as bowling balls is already ridiculous, but the real kicker was how unconcerned Dave was until the gnome massacre. You could practically see the gears turning in his head as he learned that some things are best left to professionals… or at least to people who own real bowling balls! As he picked up the remains of his neighbor’s garden decor, he couldn’t help but laugh at himself — the mightiest bowler with the finest “balls of stone.”
