“It’s over. I have the high ground.”
I
“You betrayed the order!”

R

M
Yay Edmonton!
P
Someone from the fuck cars sub made it outside

I’m curious, would you be allowed to start driving away, as an act of self defense? I kinda doubt it, but at the same time, she is kinda attacking it, and you can’t tell if she has a weapon up there. In the scenario that she DOES have a weapon, say a baseball bat or something, at some point surely you COULD drive to defend yourself. I assume that would become true if she started smashing windows or threatening you more directly. edit: I’m sure this heavily depends on where you are, self defense laws, stand your ground vs duty to retreat, etc.
F
Weapon or not, you could just argue that you panicked and didn’t really know what to do. But it’s very questionable that this would ever be in your best interest. Risk outweighs the reward unless you truly fear for your safety.
J
I would definitely do a little jerky lurch to make em fall down.
B
You certainly can drive away. You owe them no duty of care. They climbed on your car on a highway to run from the cops.
O
If you won’t give us walkable cities, we’ll MAKE walkable cities.
M
One thing Ive learned in all my thirty six years of life is that running from the police invariably makes your situation worse.
A
That’s methed up
C
Good old Anthony Henday drive. This has happened a few times over the weekend, apparently. FWIW it’s a ring road and not an express way.
A
That woman has 35 cats in her house
M
Not as bad as it sounds since half of them are in the freezer.
A
It sounds worse that way.
