The Most Remarkable Jeopardy Celebration Occurred 2 Years Ago.

Two years ago, my friends and I decided to throw the ultimate Jeopardy-themed celebration for my birthday. We transformed the living room into a game show set, complete with a makeshift podium and a homemade buzzer system that had a tendency to short-circuit more often than not. After hours of painstaking trivia preparation, we finally sat down to play, and chaos ensued when the “Daily Double” turned out to be a literal double helping of cake—let’s just say we were all buzzing more than our broken buzzer!
Imagine a room full of adults trying to decide whether “who wrote ‘Moby Dick?’” or “what is the best topping for pizza?” was categorized under Literature or Food, while simultaneously trying not to spill frosting on the scoreboard (which was, of course, a giant posterboard). By the end, someone had mistakenly answered “What is a cat?” for every single question, earning them the title of “most confusing contestant” and resulting in uncontrollable laughter. Not to mention, we ate so much cake that we unanimously decided to answer the final Jeopardy question as “What is a food coma?”—and let’s be real, that’s the best trivia to ever come out of a birthday celebration.
