Last Saturday, my friend decided to have a “YouTube night” where we’d watch every ridiculous cat video and cooking fail imaginable. We started with a compilation of cats getting scared by cucumbers and somehow ended up diving deep into a rabbit hole of conspiracy theories about how pigeons are government drones. I swear, by the end of the night, we were convinced that the pigeons we saw outside our window were plotting to take over the neighborhood.
It’s hilarious how a simple plan to watch cute cats spiraled into a full-on debate about avian espionage. We spent hours analyzing bird behavior and looking suspiciously at every pigeon that flew by, convinced they were secretly recording our every move. Honestly, I never thought I’d see a group of adults get so worked up over imaginary pigeon spies, but there we were, forming alliances and creating a secret “anti-pigeon” club. Next week, we’re thinking of tackling “YouTube: The Dark Side of Squirrels.” Who knows where that will lead?
