Seen at the hardware store today

Title: Spotted at the hardware store today.
Today at the hardware store, I witnessed a sight that undoubtedly made my day. I saw a man trying to carry three gigantic planks of wood. These pieces were so long they could’ve doubled as makeshift wings for a small aircraft. He had them balanced precariously, with one end resting on his shoulder. Of course, he didn’t notice that every time he turned to look at something, customers were dodging or ducking to avoid being accidentally jousted by his new wooden appendages.
It was like watching a live-action version of that “duck carrying a baguette” meme, but with a grown man and lumber. The best part? He seemed blissfully unaware of the chaos he was causing. Folks were diving out of the way as though their lives depended on it, while he calmly compared drill bits, completely oblivious to the ripple of amusement (and slight terror) he left in his wake. It was a scene straight out of a slapstick comedy, and I couldn’t help but chuckle as I navigated the aisles, thankful my shopping list didn’t require me to wield any construction projectiles.
