What could possibly motivate someone to do that?

What would motivate someone to act in that way?

According to my Canadian friend who lives near Winnipeg in Manitoba, apparently Arson is common in that city. Make of that information what you will.

That means this person will *not* be suffering any real consequences. Minors do not face consequences for their crimes in Canada.

From Scarborough. I am now not surprised lol.

Why? Cause people will do ANYTHING to get attention. If they think it will go viral for better or worse…that is ALL they needed to think about. Nothing else matters but the fame.

It looks like this is a trend happening in Canada. There’s been like 7 cases in the past 9 days. I think the first few were firecrackers, so this kid probably thinks “well those were no big deal, a mortars a firework like that”, but it’s a lot worse. Im not excusing this at all, but I work with this age range. Theyre so desperate for acceptance, mixed with the fact their brains aren’t fully developed to completely grasp consequences, as well as the fact that they’re so incredibly impulsive, it’s a FUCKED up mix. Again, not excusing anything.

Yeah, face it, this is a crime. . if not felenous assult, then attempted arson, or wreckless conduct and endangering lives. We have all seen firwork fiascos elevate from funny “*ha-ha*” to full blown arson in mere moments. . on a moving and closed vehicle, the possibility of a fire is just too great to even pull such a stunt.

“The girl, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with mischief endangering life. She is due to appear in a Toronto courtroom on Friday, July 14.”

What do you think?
