**Always Wear a Helmet, Kids**
Little Timmy, the self-proclaimed daredevil of the neighborhood, decided it was a perfect day to impress his friends with his bike tricks, specifically a jump over a makeshift ramp made of old pizza boxes. As he revved up for his grand stunt, his younger sister, seven-year-old Molly, yelled, “Timmy, you should really wear a helmet!” Timmy, brimming with confidence and a sprinkle of arrogance, simply replied, “Pfft, helmets are for babies!” And off he went, launching himself into what he hoped would be a legendary leap. Spoiler alert: the laws of physics were not on his side.
In that epic moment, Timmy flew majestically—until gravity intervened spectacularly, and he landed right in a carefully placed bush of thorny roses. The sight of his flailing limbs and the bouquet of thorns sticking out of his bike shorts had everyone in stitches. Molly, standing off to the side, pointed and exclaimed, “See? Now you’ve got a whole new kind of headgear!” Timmy learned his lesson the hard way while trying to convince himself that the “natural look” was totally in fashion.

Children should always wear a helmet.

The costumes, the weather, the braids, the guy laughing, the wife, hitting his head, everything…this is what a great commercial looks like. PERFECTION.
H
Excellent production quality! Check out the series “Norsemen” for more medieval Scandinavian humor (Norwegian, not Danish).
B
I was thinking about that show the entire time watching this. It’s so good.
N
I feel like Norsemen is a cross between game of thrones and Monty Python. I really like that show.
K
Is there anything else like Norsemen? Its one if my favorites and I miss it
H
I expected that Vikings show to be more of the same, but it tries to be a serious period drama. Disappointing.
M
This might be sarcasm. But…Norsemen was inspired by the Vikings show
H
Ahh I did not know that.

For those that don’t know, this is also taking a jab at Hells Angels and Bandidos in Denmark. There was a law passed that finally required motorcyclist to wear helmets unless you had a medical reason not to, so all of a sudden the entire clubs got medical permissions to not wear helmets because of “dandruff”.
J
I wanted to see where they go to England, and he gets hit in the helmet with an arrow that bounces off.
C
now THATS an ad! and the next helmet will be these guys, if possible edit: ah not an ad from a company, but a public service campaign. still very well done

Wear a helmet!
I
I knew there would need to be something at the end that happened showing he needs to wear a helmet. Thought it was going to be the horse rearing up and him falling off, but the understated “ding” of him hitting his head works well with the humour of the piece
L
Funny that this commercial found its way here. I’m in it.
E
Have you checked on Svend lately? Is he backsliding on the helmet wearing?
M
yes dear…

For some reason I want to buy a helmet now. Edit – Bike helmet I have. I have seen riding helmets. I have to admit every time I have been on a horse. No helmet. Enough times that I feel kinda silly now…much like this masterpiece.

What is this from?
A
It’s a PSA! “Council for safer traffic” is the text at the end.
T
Thank you. LMAO! Great PSA.
A
It is! I love that he bonks his head on the gate as he’s leaving

For anyone wondering, or confused. This is a (older) PSA or ad from ‘Safe traffic’ in Denmark. A country known for it’s many cyclist and cyclist friendly cities. However, there is no law that state that you HAVE to wear a helmet on a bicycle, and as such, many adults skip it. ‘It ruins their hair’ – ‘It looks dumb’ etc. are just some of many excuses. But the fact is, each year people dies in traffic where a helmet could have saved them, hence the PSA. Personally, I see many adults dropping of their kids at schools/daycares wearing the helmet, to be a good example, but on the way to work it hangs on the steering wheel. The ‘joke’ in it all is, when E-scooter started to become popular, a law was put in place making it a requirement to wear helmet on them, or you could be fined.
L
I’ve watched this 3 times now and cannot stop laughing at the very end…”are you okay?!” Oml…too good
