**What Happened:** In 2016, my friends and I made a pact to become “adventurers” and do something crazy every weekend. Our first bright idea was to tackle an escape room, only to be hilariously outsmarted by a bunch of glowing arrows and riddles that we swore were made by a group of bored college students. After an hour of confidently shouting out absurd answers like “the number seven” and “pickles,” we finally admitted defeat, only to discover we had been standing next to the exit door the entire time.

**Why It’s Funny:** It dawned on us that we could’ve escaped simply by opening the door next to the snack table. We all looked at each other, tears of laughter streaming down our faces, as we realized our biggest adventure in 2016 was staying put, desperately searching for answers that didn’t exist. The irony was not lost on us: we set out to conquer the world, but ended up just conquering the nearest pizza joint instead!

You know, hopping on a 🚲. Using ⚙️ with 💉💉💉 in your butt. Edit: If you still don’t get it, it’s something only bodybuilders used to do. But nowadays teenagers hop on ⚙️, and post it on TikTok. They get a great physique but look about 10-20 years older (mostly their face), and the damage is permanent even if you quit. If they don’t quit, they often don’t make it past 40-60 years. Depending on when they get hospitalized.

This is, as if often said, funny because it’s true. On the Human Male Virility Meter, when people look at a man’s head, they often instantly subconsciously gauge the overall amount of reflective bare skin they see (especially with White guys) –and a bearded bald head and a beardless head with hair “read” in a very similar way. (Contrast this with how people often gauge the skinhead look –which is often perceived as “sickly”/strange –something like seeing an albino– or confrontational.)
