Simply another form of anger provocation.

**What Happened:** Last Saturday, my friend Tom invited me over for a game night, promising a few laughs and some seriously competitive digital mayhem. We settled in for an epic session of the latest battle royale game, feeling confident as we teamed up. But just two minutes in, I accidentally sent Tom flying off a cliff with a poorly timed grenade. Cue the eruption of colorful insults! What followed was a spiraling descent into a hilariously escalating feud, with each of us trying to outsmart the other, only to have our plans backfire spectacularly—think friendly fire, ping pong maneuvers, and Tom’s ridiculous rage-induced speech that resembled a Shakespearean tragedy.

**Why It’s Funny:** Watching Tom shift from smug conqueror to a flailing mess was pure gold. Every time he raged at his screen, I couldn’t help but chuckle while I chimed in with “great save, buddy!” It became an all-out competition to see who could make the other rage quit first. By the end of the night, we were both rolling on the floor, tears streaming down our faces—not just from the games, but from the realization that nothing serves up friendship quite like a healthy dose of competitive anger and a few accidental explosions!

The fish is at a point where people regularly feed them. It has learnt this is a feeding point, and it’s spraying water to ask for food. Which is really smart and makes me think maybe fish are smarter than we think. Or this fish is just a dick

I think all animals are smarter than the regular person thinks.

That is a sign of intelligence, apparently.

I hate this quote. It is just as often the exact opposite.

“I’m not as dumb as you think I am!” “Nooo… you couldn’t be.”

I think some animals are smarter than the lower third of all humans.

Dude I watched a video of a bird that could figure out how to open a container. Literally smarter than some people I have worked with

The two bell curves of intelligence overlap by a lot

They are smart up to a certain point for sure. This type of fish use the same method to hit insects with water, making them fall into the water, so the fish can eat it. Which indeed is smart. But it’s not like it’s something it’s learned itself. It’s instincts. Adapting to shoot water at humans is the same as bears going close to people because someone was dumb enough to feed them. Any living thing will adapt to a easier source of food. (Unless you are a koala.. they are truly dumb)

Archer fish instinctively spray bugs on overhanging branches and in the air to bring them down. They don’t have to learn it. This one has learned that it also brings down bread from hands.

I’d point you to /r/OneOrangeBrainCell . You’d think all cats are crafty and smart, but some just seem special.

Also, the average person is much dumber than the regular person thinks.

And I also think there’s an equal amount of people that thinks animals are smarter than they actually are.

Considering how a lot of people *increase* there volume when talking at someone that’s attempting to communicate back in broken language, or how some people will talk slow to anyone in a wheelchair, I’d say we most likely *severely* underestimate the intelligence of animals in general.

The problem is intelligence is based on how well they can climb trees.

I recently learned that koalas have smooth brains
