Traveling by car with the group.
in WTF
Unexpected adventure on a road trip with friends.

K
What moron films bees in his car while driving?
R
I wasn’t sure until I heard Florida and then I was like this motherfucker right here, and then he starts filming his hand on the steering wheel
M
one of the cars Oprah gave away
A
beesbeesbees
C
Reminds me of a few videos ive seen like “man the roads sure are terrible”… so they pulled out their phone to film it.
L
I’m going to assume there a scalding hot cup of coffee in the other hand.
P
Yeah, God forbid the guy in a car full of bees be distracted
E
Filming while driving could be admonished for sure But tbh the background could be that this is a beekeeper picking up a new nuc, or starter hive from someone else. When transporting a new hive the literal advice is just to put them in your car windows up. A few might escape but in this transport stage they aren’t usually aggressive.
M
Whats wrong with the trunk?
E
If you are traveling at speed like here the bees may not be able to keep up when they get loose. Trunk is fine at low speeds, if you happen to have one. Personally I might want to wear a suit in the car though
C
The same kind of person thats driving watching a person film bees while driving.
N
he wants people to know how he went out
2
So unruly. They should ALL be belted in when the car is moving.
S
Belt them bees too!
C
NOT THE BEES!!!
S
***incessant screaming into the distance***
I
AAAAAHHHHH THEY’RE IN MY EYES!!!!
C
Don’t worry, bee happy
B
If the bee fly around the car and then suddenly the car brakes realy hard, will the bee slam into the window or does it just continue flying around? Sit down in groups of four and diskuss why or why not the bee slam to the window then place the answer on my desk.
B
Asking the real questions
R
They might fly towards the back! The physics here is going to be interesting. Air has weight, like everything else. If you put a helium balloon in a car and stop, it will rush to the back because the heavier air rushes to the front displacing it. Bees are heavier than air, so they should go forward displacing air. However, if they are flying, it might just cause them to rotate and fly ‘upwards’ toward the back.
A
It slams into the window and continues flying around
W
No, but I don’t have time to explain it. Theres an action labs video about this using a drone in a minivan
B
The air inside the car is effectively a static bubble. The bee in flight moves relative to the air, not the car. For the bee to “slam” into the window, air would have to pass through the window which obviously doesn’t happen.
R
is the WTF a long series of questionable decisions made prior to this clip?
[
YOUR WEAPONS ARE USELESS AGAINST THEM
C
That is the wrong lane for that amount of bees.
C
Why is the defroster making a buzzing sound?
J
well the shb suggests it might actually be a colony of bees inside the vents lol
S
For those that aren’t into apiaries: SHB = small hive beetle It’s the little fucker the bees keep nudging away.
U
Here I am, driving around with 40.000 of these little fellas on my backseat multiple times a year… Beekeeper’s life…
W
Wtf is right. Driving in the left lane making people pass you on the right is ridiculous. MOVE TO THE RIGHT LANE TO GO SLOW
J
This happened to me after camping once. Four days in Bear Mountain roughing it. Tired, hot, and dirty. Hop in my friend’s car and start heading home. Crank the AC, and bees *immediately* start shooting out. 0/10, do not recommend.
U
I might be wrong, but I think you’re the first person to post while driving a hivebrid.
R
Is GOB Bluth driving? r/arresteddevelopment
D
Beads?
F
He’s made a huge mistake
M
Bees! Bees in the car! They’re huge and they’re sting-crazy!!
S
At least they aren’t yellow jackets. Be better off lighting the whole thing on fire, although they would still get you in the end.
D
The wtf is the healthcare financement advertisement at the radio
M
Are we there yet, honey?
A
Man, bees are the best. They are friendly. Chill. Helpful pollinators. honey makers.
T
“There ain’t nothin’ in there but beeeeeeess!”
W
Great, now they’re lost and have to go back looking for their hive
P
That many bees…the hive is in there. Obviously a queen went into the vent.
C
Could this be a swarm looking for a new home? Regardless, the true wtf is this person still driving nonchalantly.
A
Makes me almost wonder if this guy is transporting a hive.
S
They don’t allow you to have bees in here.
M
Turn your wipers off
I
A hive in the engine compartment. The car might have have been stationary for a long time?
