So there I was, trying to enjoy a peaceful Sunday afternoon at the park, when my brain decided it was the perfect time for an uninvited inner monologue. I suddenly found myself imagining how it would feel to just run up to the nearest goose and challenge it to a duel. Why? I don’t know! Maybe it was the ridiculousness of the thought, but there I was, mentally preparing my battle strategy involving a stick and some stale bread. Before I knew it, I was giggling uncontrollably, attracting the weird stares of fellow park-goers.
Instead of going for a calm stroll or reading a book, my mind opted for a thrilling adventure involving fowl combat! It’s a classic case of why we should definitely not listen to our brain when it decides to wander into the bizarre. Because honestly, nothing says “I should probably seek professional help” like contemplating a showdown with a goose while sipping your overpriced latte! At that moment, I realized I might need a therapist or at least a better snack.
