Australian child scolds father for using profanity.

**What Happened:** Little Timmy, an eight-year-old with a knack for mimicry, overheard his dad dropping a few choice expletives while fixing the car in frustration. Inspired by his father’s enthusiasm, Timmy marched over, hands on his hips, and exclaimed, “Dad! You can’t say that! It’s not polite!”

**Why It’s Funny:** The irony of Timmy, who himself had just been caught shouting at a stubborn toy dinosaur for refusing to cooperate, made the moment all the more amusing. The image of this pint-sized moral authority standing firm against his dad’s swearing was hilarious, especially as he added, “You need to use some good words, like ‘cheese’ or ‘unicorn!’” Who knew a little kid could turn a swearing lesson into a bizarre vocabulary class?

Kids giving the “disappointed” vibes like my dad when I didn’t make varsity.

In Australia, ‘Varsity’ is a chain of bars, so this really held a different meaning to me 😅

I work from home, and it’s been the holidays here in Australia, so this has been me with a sassy daughter. Occasionally I can flip it and say something like “Oh no, I said ‘truck’. They need to get it ‘trucked’”. Or “No, I said ‘stunt’. My boss is quite the ‘stunt’.” But overall, it’s a salient reminder from the person I’m raising that I should do better.

My 3 year old tells everyone within ear shot, the bus, random stores, at the supermarket, “Papa said fucking shit. He’s not allowed to say that.” I can’t explain enough that he is, in fact, saying it when he says that, and he shouldn’t be saying it. He thinks he found a loop hole if he says I did it.

Those are my 3 year old’s favorite two words lately. Thankfully he’s only experimented using them in our house.

Start saving for dental issues if the child has been using a baby bottle their whole life so far.

Nah, he’s just going in to feed his baby brother before heading off to the factory to work his shift while Dad stays home and curses at his video game.

He’ll give daddy’s bottle back when daddy behaves

L

Maybe it’s for a younger sibling, though that kind might be small enough it might be in the process of weaning off a bottle for comfort (for mine I just threw the bottle away).

G
gortez33 • 8 points
Kid take a drink while walking away.

L

Didn’t pay attention to that, but yeah, I don’t know australians to estimate age.

What do you think?
