Assess the snowman.

Last winter, my neighbors and I decided to compete in a neighborhood snowman-building contest. As temperatures dropped, we got competitive, creatively sculpting our frosty warriors. Gary across the street went for the classic look, complete with a carrot nose and twig arms, while my own snowman had a floppy hat, mismatched buttons, and a half-eaten snowball for a mouth. As the final judging approached, we all huddled together for an informal “evaluation.”
Amidst the laughter and trash talk, I accidentally knocked off Gary’s snowman’s head, and it rolled away, disappearing under a car. In a panic, I declared that I had “effectively evaluated” his creation and given it a lower score! The snowmelt didn’t help the situation, and the whole neighborhood burst into laughter as we all agreed the only true winner that day was the rogue snowball that caused quite the snowman identity crisis.
