### What Kind of Bread?
Last Saturday, I decided to try my hand at baking sourdough bread for the first time. After hours of diligent kneading and waiting for my dough to rise, I proudly pulled a golden loaf out of the oven. However, as I sliced into it, my excitement turned to confusion—it was as dense as a brick! My friend, who is an avid bread enthusiast, casually commented, “Looks like you invented a new kind of bread: ‘Concrete.’”
It dawned on me that my “sourdough disaster” was now a culinary meme in my circle! Everyone started asking, “Is that gluten-free or just in denial?” and I found myself defending my bread while secretly plotting its future as a doorstop or paperweight. At least my cooking skills could hold the door open—quite literally!

Picked up a few loaves there as they are 2 doors down from Heritage BBQ and San Juan Capistrano Mission. Their sourdough is amazing. And yes….they know about the joke….hence why they say it’s pronounced Eff Kay Inn…not fuckin. Me personally, I am pretty sure they used to double entendres simply because it’s hilarious. It’s good FKN bread.
