A Monster Truck wheel unexpectedly rolls into the parking area.

A Monster Truck wheel unexpectedly rolls away into the parking lot.

W
Crowd went from “YEEEEAH” to silent prayer real quick
V
People that cheered parked in a different lot.
D
I was there, my thought processes was: “Fuck yeah!” *I parked in the other lot? Yes, yes I did.* “Woooooooo!” *That tire could have really hurt someone…* *10 minutes pass, no sirens.* “That was awesome!”
V
Noooo! My car!!!
A
“I get a new car!” “Yeeeeaaaaahhhh!!!”
D
Anything was better than that kia
M
Went from “weee” to “wooo”.
B
Omg 🤣😂
A

A
“Man, today is my lucky day! Look at this close parking spot that just opened up!”
J
“Sorry ol’ dad couldn’t afford tickets for your birthday this year, Billy. But at least that nice man let us past the gates and we can hear the sounds of the monster trucks from the parking lot.”
A
*OH GOD BILLY LOOK OUT*
F
That Kia got it good. r/tiresaretheenemy

S
That Kia is worth less than the tire
T
Don’t worry their insurance carrier will charge them more than twice the value of the car in increased premiums for every event for the next couple years
M
Whew, I was worried about the insurance CEO not having enough money next year for his usual 4 yachts yearly replacement that need to be replaced because the multi-spray shower heads have some lime on them
T
This comment is ignorant and makes no sense. Why would their insurance carrier charge them anything when they’re not at fault? This would very obviously be covered by the responsible party. And why would anyone pay more than their car is worth in insurance premiums? That would be pointless and has never happened ever. And every event for the next couple of years? If you’re making multiple at-fault claims every few years, you deserve to be dropped.
V
The… the event’s insurance, not the car’s, probably.
K
I’ve more than paid the value of my car in premiums over the 16 years I’ve had it. That’s with no accidents or infractions. It’s definitely not uncommon, let alone “has never happened.” Some people drive cheap cars. Some people maintain those cars so they continue to drive. Almost everyone will keep insurance on said car because.. legal mandates and, surprise, insurance. To your other point, a lot of insurance will raise rates on premiums even while involved in no fault accidents. They justify it as “an incident increasing risk.”
T
First of all, owning one car for 16 years is not usual. If that’s what it takes to exceed the value of the car, that’s an extreme scenario. Second of all, you’re confusing your entire insurance payments, which include liability, for just the coverage on your vehicle. You absolutely did not pay more for the vehicle specific coverage than the value of the car. If you did, you’re an idiot. My car is worth about $15k and the comprehensive coverage is like $200 for a year. It’s the liability, which covers other people’s cars, medical bills, and lawsuits, that’s expensive. That’s protection against hundreds of thousands of dollars in liability.
A
Aren’t those tires expensive as fuck?
S
Yes but we’re trying to make fun of the shitty car
A
Stupid car parked right in the landing zone.
L
He deserved it, that shiny new smartaxx bumper slumper!
A
Kias arent shitty
S
The Kia was worth less than the air in the tire before it was hit.
D
I have a rule with cars – never put more into it then the vehicle is worth. If the owner of that Kia follows the same rule they can’t fill the gas tank more than 1/2.
K
Darn shame, looks like it was well kept, obviously functional. This is seriously bad luck for that individual. IF, big if, they pay anything it likely won’t cover the cost of replacement transportation.
B
First car: oh that doesn’t look that bad. Second car: holy shit…….
D
My Kia!
H
Nokia
T
Direct hit!
D
This is like best case scenario at a monster truck show if it is not your vehicle. This is the worst case scenario at a monster truck show if it is your vehicle.
S
Thank god it didn’t hit anything important
W
Welp, that’s totaled. The other car was barely touched.

O
Yikes, could’ve ended so much worse. What if it flew towards the crowd or if there were people in the parking lot?
H
Was there watching from the other side, it was pretty wild in person. This happened half an hour before the event was supposed to end, so luckily very few people were leaving early. Saw the Kia afterwords and it would have been real bad.
[
Who did you have “words” with “after”? 😉 edit: guess ppl didn’t catch “afterwords” vs “afterwards”

im just out here trying to make a bad word play joke about spelling mistakes but i guess no one knows the difference between afterwords and afterwards
S
I see what you did there lol
C
I wonder if that’s why the jumps face that way?
D
The next truck up, Spitfire, did the same jump going the opposite direction, and also sheared it’s axel. Thankfully it didn’t lose its wheel entirely, because the opposite direction from the parking lot was the food court and handicapped seating.
J
That’s a lot of words to say, “Don’t go to the Kitsap County Monster Truck show”
F
Perfectly fine if in walking distance and you sit on the side
C
Jeeez
F
AXLE, non AXEL. (Unless your last name is Foley, AKA, Beverly Hills Cop).
