An expert in You Laugh, You Lose.

Last Saturday, my friend Ben decided he was going to conquer the ultimate challenge: You Laugh You Lose. It was simple—four rounds of watching ridiculous videos while trying to keep a straight face. He found an old cat compilation, which featured cats falling over, sneezing, and getting freaked out by cucumbers. Ben sat down, determined as ever, and began the gauntlet, his face a mask of intense concentration. By the second video, he was already turning red and twitching like he was trying to suppress a sneeze, but oh, the struggle was real!
Every time a fluffy kitty launched itself off a countertop and promptly flopped onto the floor, Ben’s poker face cracked more than a cheap joke. By the end of the game, laughter erupted from his mouth like a chant from a stadium, and he was practically rolling on the floor, moments away from a kitten-fueled meltdown. The hilarious irony? The guy who touted himself as a master of “seriousness” had lost to a clumsy cat, proving once again that sometimes the cutest things are the best at turning you into a giggling mess.
