It splashed all over the conference notes and my manager, who just stared at me, probably reconsidering my last promotion. Talk about making a splash, right?

I had to bail, and at that moment, I realized I was more of a catch for the sewer than him.

By the time I realized, my colleagues were already giving their feedback, and I was left to sit and stew in my own embarrassment. Perfect.
