Could you please open the gate and let me go?

Larry had decided that today would be the day he finally fixed the old, rusty garden gate that kept getting stuck. Armed with a can of WD-40 and a misguided sense of confidence, he set to work. However, in a classic case of “now this is going to be a great story,” he managed to oil himself into a predicament. While attempting to swing the gate wide, it jammed and flipped open dramatically—sending Larry tumbling right into his meticulously arranged flower beds.
