Scarecrow competition, it’s not a bad effort,6/10

Nothing WTF about this. It’s very common for rural areas to have scarecrow competitions in the UK. Most of the villages near me do it in the Midlands, and when I lived in a village, you guessed it, they did it as well.

This must be so fun for all the little kids.

I literally ducked into a nearby woodland and had to Blair Witch stumble through to the other side.

I hear that kind of action is Hollywood-worthy. I’ve hiked in lots of heavily-wooded areas, and I am so glad I never stumbled on anything remotely resembling this.

Check out the movie “The Ritual” from 2017. Friends go hiking through some deep swedish forest as a way to remember/honor a friend of theirs that died… You’ll appreciate even more not finding anything weird in the woods
