Whenever I find a stinkbug, it’s just sitting there doing nothing in a corner or behind something. Only seen them move like twice, and was surprised when I saw one fly. Like what’s even their purpose for existing?

I missed it myself at first glance. On my screen, the text is about the same size as, and directly below, the text on the “clean filter” sticker. And both are black on white. I think this fools the eye into thinking it’s all one block of text.

In the UK and no idea what a stink bug is. But if they live in US microwaves then that’s another reason to avoid the states.

They‘re pretty common in Germany(or better: Europe). Actually, invasive since 2011, coming from East Asia(China, mainly). They‘re stupid, and when feel threatened, spray a stinky substance, hence the name. This time of the year, they look for warm spots(usually south-facing walls, house entrances), that’s why, depending on setup and location, a lot of those fuckers can find their way inside. There aren’t many predators here for them, so their population kind of exploded over the years. A real pest for farmers, causing yearly losses in crop. German name: Braune (marmorierte) Baumwanze.

I hate these bugs with my entire being. I used to have trouble sleeping and one night this hellspawn decided to fly its helicopter wings around the room and I couldn’t sleep the rest of the night.And the smell persists too.I put my hand in my pocket before leaving for school and felt something weird in there.Surprise surprise,there was another fucker in there and my hand smelt like hell for 2 days.Fuck stink bugs

…. Most if not all microwaves I’ve seen in my life has had changeable filters. I even washed my filter like 5 times in the washing machine over the years…

I can’t wait for the stink bugs to be gone. I don’t care if they’re outside, but when they get in–and they’re everywhere, so they often do–my cat breaks stuff, trying to catch them. Even on the ceiling, she still thinks she can get them if she leaps from something high enough.

Theres been an invasion of them where I live. When I was young we occasionally had shit like lady bugs be overpopulated but Id never even seen a stink bug and in the last 15 years theyre fucking everywhere all the time. Left the door open so my dog could come in and out one day and there were so many stink bugs in the house when I got done working in the garage that we never did get them all out.

I had a stinkbug determined he was watching videos on my phone with me. I put a dot of nail polish on it to prove to my husband it was the same one. 🤣 I’d throw it outside, and an hour later it was back inside landing on my phone.
