Last Saturday, my dog, Charlie, decided he was going to help me wash the car. With all the enthusiasm of a pup who just heard the word “treat,” he bounded into the driveway, tail wagging furiously. As I sprayed water on the car, Charlie assumed this was the grandest game ever invented. Every time I hosed down the tires, he leaped into the spray, trying to catch the “magical” water droplets with the same determination he usually shows when chasing squirrels. You’d think he was auditioning for the canine Olympics instead of just trying to dry off the car.
It quickly turned into a slapstick comedy show, with each spray of water causing him to spin in circles, barking at the “evil hose” like it was a monster threatening our driveway. My neighbors were watching, trying not to laugh too loudly, while I stood there soaked and helpless, unable to focus on cleaning the car between my giggles. In the end, the car was only half-washed, and Charlie was a soggy, triumphant hero, completely committed to his mission of… well, making an absolute mess instead!

The course is not the same every time they run it. The dogs have to clear the obstacles in different order and stuff gets moved around. The owners don’t even know the course layout until the day of an event.

Starts at 39 seconds remaining ends at 10 seconds remaining, which matches up with a roughly 30 second run as shown in the actual video. Its not off by a few seconds by a long shot. Maybe a few milliseconds at worst.

The crazy thing is, that dog will absolutely do this all day without any complaints. I baby sat a border Collie for a few hours and the ONLY thing she wanted to do was okay fetch. I got tired throwing the ball before she got tired getting it.
