(Feb 10, 2026) Ecuador: An employee becomes a target after management declines to pay extortion, yet survives all five shots.

B
Incredible that first shot missed
C
it appears it BARELY missed, whats crazy, is that the guys reaction actually kept him alive, since the second bullet also BARELY missed him, you can see the bullet hole in the red background, the 3rd shot actually hits the ground right behind him, then after he drags himself under the desk, the 4th and 5th shots hit the desk. This guy truly dodged those bullets, damn.
Y
Woah, he’s the One
C
The movies mislead us
C
It turns out that an ordinary man in his early 40s can dodge bullets, and not these superheroes.
B
This guy is simply retired from the Matrix. He’s about to plug back in for the 5th movie.
C
Sorry, I didn’t recognize Morpheus with this color.
B
Thought it was Trinity without makeup
L
\* he’s the Juan
A
And his name? Boris… Boris the Bullet Dodger
N
Why do they call him the Bullet Dodger?
B
Because he dodges bullets, Avi. smh
P
Summary: Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
S
why is this classic getting downvoted, smh my head
D
Funny how you’re also getting downvotes for a classic lol
V
shaking my head my head?
J
Because most of us don’t get the reference.
C
“Shaking my head my head”? Edit – God forbid I ask a question and draw the ire of the smelliest creatures plaguing the Internet.
L
Obviously. It’s what you do when you forget your PIN number for the ATM machine. Apparently it’s a real problem near Mount Fuji-yama in Japan and the Rio Grande River in Texas.
L
Man. People out here really be missing Reddit’s classics more than the guy missed his shots, huh.
L
The narwhal bacons at midnight
P
Holy fuck you dusted that one off from what, 2014?
F
2008 more like. By 2014 it was already mostly dead
S
Don’t you mean waffles!?
T
“here’s the thing…”
L
I’m guessing the desk isn’t bulletproof, in which case he barely dodged those two last shots as well. The first one hit where he was heading and the second hit where he just left. If they were fired the other way around he’d have been hit by both bullets.
K
So this is the real life Boris the bullet dodger!
M
Because he dodges bullets, Avi.
Q
It wasn’t his time, simple as that. The shooter didn’t get the message on that.
A
i remember an old video of a police chase that ended with a shoot out between a policeman and and a robber, both on each side of the front of a van and they missed everything. They were shooting each other from like 10 feet.
H
insert the gif from the Naked Gun where they’re sitting behind the same oil barrel
H
Or the rooftop one crouching behind that AC unit or whatever it is lol.
P
Or the one from the boondocks [https://youtu.be/UajTvU3sjrY?t=37](https://youtu.be/UajTvU3sjrY?t=37)
T
About 25 years ago I was doing paintball and one time me and another dude on the other team was on the other side of a chest high barrier. Don’t remember how long but maybe a meter or so and 0,5 meters wide. We circled that thing trying to shoot each other and failing for quite some time with a number of bullets. Not the same as real bullets, but still. Can be really difficult to hit at times.
D
Yeah, paintball/airsoft is a lot harder than many think as well!
G
There’s a statistic from police shootings where it states that police only hit there targets about 30-35% of the time and the vast majority of those shootings take place within 7 yards.
S
That’s normal, shooting is extremely hard and even more so if someone is shooting back.
C
Doesnt get much more ‘point blank’ range than that. Holy crap glad he missed.
M
And that’s why you don’t hold your gun sideways.
C
People don’t realize how easy it is to miss with guns. Holding a lazer pointer in your hand illustrates how shaky people can be, not including the movement from pulling the trigger.
S
It’s like a scene out of [pulp fiction](https://youtu.be/JNcR21R0cW8?si=KvSdPZ43hyptcyAN)
A
I wonder if the Person shooting thought that the man had died by the way he fell of his chair? If that makes any sense.
L
To me that’s what it looked like. This ain’t the movies where you get a big puff of red and someone goes auuughhh and falls over. You drop straight down (obviously dependent on what your current momentum is when shot) like all your muscles just instantly shut of (which is basically what happens). He’s standing a fair bit away, wouldn’t easily see the gunshot wound from there even if he had hit him (not until it’d start pouring blood). So it’d say you’re spot on. He fired a bunch of shots, saw the dude drop, and assumed he’d if not killed him, wounded him bad. Message sent.
C
Even though he missed all the shots I think the message was still sent.
K
don’t think he would’ve instantly died if he did get hit anyway. shooter probably booked it out of there thinking the victim will bleed out.
J
My guess is the shooter was pressured to do it, so someone’s going to be pressured to do something bad to the shooter now?
T
That’s usually how it works for most criminal associations. You need to kill someone for them to become a full time member. This way, you cannot get out or turn them in, as your gang would implicate you in a murder. Even 19th century mafia worked this way already.
3
Now I’m gonna have an instant playback of Wilhelm scream ready just in case
N
I doubt they really care. If this is actually a scare, then killing doesn’t make much of a difference. So it is better to just leg it before anyone can react than to try and find a way to take a better shot. Also, it is kinda hard to make a second attempt if you’re behind bars.
G
At the end, with the woman opening the door, asking what happened, as if it were another day at work.
