Last Saturday, I decided to explore my backyard for some gardening inspiration. As I was digging through the soil, I stumbled upon a vibrant patch of mushrooms that looked like they were auditioning for a role in a kids’ movie. Curious, I tapped on one with a stick, and to my absolute disbelief, it began to pulse with bioelectrical energy! Before I knew it, the fungi started vibrating and emitting rhythmic beats. Suddenly, my yard felt like a funky outdoor rave; forget the DJ—let’s just dance with the shrooms!
I mean, who would expect a group of mushrooms to throw a house party? I grabbed my portable speaker and started adding to their beats—nothing gets a dance floor going like “Mushroom Madness!” The neighbors peeked over the fence, probably thinking they’d found me in an advanced state of horticultural experimentation. Honestly, there I was, having the time of my life, dancing with a bunch of fungi while my dog just looked at me with an expression that said, “Human, we need to talk about your life choices.”

A lot of things can get really awkward when you put a little bit of thought into it. Mushrooms – reproductive organs. Fruits and berries – reproductive organs of plants. Spices – most are poisons for various animals/insects and that deterrent factor is what gives them specific tastes. Caviar – unfertilised eggs of fish, which come out of reproductive organs. Egg – unfertilised chicken egg which comes out of reproductive organs. Meat – dead remains of animals. Honey – extract from plant reproductive organs that was ingested and vomited out by bees. Blue cheese – milk that once gone off due to bacterial activity and became cheese, so filled with remains and excretions of bacteria. Then gone off a second time by getting mold, which is now also filled with remains and excretions of mold. So now imagine when you think from this alternate mindset about a meal like: A well seasoned with spices beef steak drenched in mushroom and blue cheese sauce, with a splash of tomato sauce, some caviar and baked egg with honey on the side.

To each their own when it comes to creative art. They are usually into psytrance and electronica with 120+bpm. If these genres and/or bpm isn’t your taste then you might not enjoy it, tripping or otherwise. I <3 their music.
