Honestly, I was frightened.

Last Halloween, I decided to get in the spirit of things by walking my dog in our new neighborhood. As we strolled past the local park, I noticed a figure standing completely still in the shadows. The silhouette looked like a spooky ghost, and for a split second, I panicked! My imagination spiraled—I was convinced I’d stumbled upon a haunted house early. My dog, meanwhile, had other ideas; he thought it was playtime and lunged toward the “ghost,” barking like it was a dark alley duel.
Turns out, my “ghost” was just a guy in a white t-shirt doing some late-night yoga, probably meditating on the benefits of upward dog or something. As my pup bounded up to him, the guy’s “peaceful” demeanor shattered into startled laughter, leaving me to awkwardly apologize for my dog’s enthusiastic attack on his zen moment. I guess Halloween’s not just about scares; it’s also about unexpected fitness inspiration!

He’s just sitting there staring at the wheel barrel like it’s a foreign device, Resusci Andy isn’t very handy.

Looks like Ken is taking a break. Leave home alone. He looks like he’s had a long day of chest compressions.

Without reading your caption (twice) and before I zoomed, I thought the mannequin was a person in a prison jumpsuit. Sitting there hiding out.

So, these mannequins for CPR etc. training must regularly cause these types of situations – I have had a similar one too back when I was in the army during basic training: Multiple companies of recruits had been issued these for training on what to do for bullet wounds, CPR etc. my bunch was given the order to clear it up for everybody – return them to the training stores for the next batch of recruits to use after (I suppose someone else had gotten the order to take them down). We lugged maybe 30 of these up to a store room and then tossed them in a pile (we had no stricter instructions) and we realised once it was done it looked 100% like there’d been a massacre, all the “uniformed bodies” piled up in a heap. At an immediate glance it’s really realistic (and truly disturbing). It was so disturbing we voluntarily went (not normal for recruits to deliberately do extra work!) and disassembled the pile and laid them out in a more orderly way … so that it looked like a morgue and not a war crime.

I guess that they wanted real human bodies for doing life saving techniques., so they spooked everyone.
