I am employed at a warehouse.

So there I was, minding my business in the warehouse, surrounded by towering shelves and endless pallets. One afternoon, I decided to play a little game: I would see how many times I could stack empty boxes before one of my coworkers noticed. After an impressive tower of thirty-two boxes teetered like a Jenga game on steroids, my buddy Steve walked in and, without missing a beat, remarked, “Is that a new shelving system or an art installation?” I couldn’t decide whether to laugh or be proud of my architectural prowess.
The hilarity really hit when the warehouse manager showed up a minute later, eyes wide as he thought we had finally lost it. He asked if we needed a safety inspection or an intervention. Here we were, in the most mundane of workplaces, transforming into a scene straight out of a slapstick comedy. Who would’ve thought that stacking boxes could almost lead to a workplace emergency? Now, whenever Steve and I see an empty box, we give each other an exaggerated wink like we’re about to start the next great warehouse art movement!
