I thought I’d impress my date with a fancy dinner at a new place. I was feeling great until I realized I accidentally made a reservation for the wrong day. We stood there outside the restaurant, looking at each other, and I couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly while she just stared at me like I was the biggest idiot ever. It felt like a scene out of a rom-com, minus the laughter.
