I took a lifeguard course to impress my crush at the pool, hoping to show off my new skills. When the instructor demonstrated a rescue, I got a little too into it and accidentally knocked over the rescue dummy into the pool, making it flop like a fish. My crush laughed so hard that she ended up asking someone else out while I stood there, mortified.
