It brings to mind Boss Baby.

Last week, I was babysitting my nephew, Timmy, and things took a hilarious turn when he decided to conduct a “business meeting” with his stuffed animals. He placed them in a circle on the living room floor, donned his dad’s oversized suit jacket, and confidently declared, “All right, team, let’s discuss our quarterly snack intake!” Watching him passionately present his case for more cookies and juice as if he was running an actual board meeting was priceless.
The kicker? The dog sat in as the “CFO,” staring blankly at the proceedings, while Timmy insisted on treating him with the utmost respect, even passing him a toy bone as if it were a golden opportunity. Just seeing this pint-sized executive in action, throwing around business lingo like he was channeling his inner Boss Baby, had me in stitches. I half-expected him to pull out a briefcase filled with gummy bears and announce, “Let’s negotiate!” Who knew corporate life could start so early—and involve so many snacks?

I have a theory that when we die we eventually come back but after like 10 years or so. All that floating in the void seems like an instant to us but its like a decade or more we kinda chill while people we knew from our past lives die out making sure we have no more physical connections to this world before we go splat and get poped out again. When we are born I think its like a bad trip untill we are 3-4 then we start to overide things with our new memories. Parts of us remain, however they feel more like a whisper. Leading us to favorite foods or smells.

If you wana get over that fear go take some dxm or pcp or K, under supervision of course. But that shit will snatch you up out of ur body, propell ur ass out into a realm where you dont exist yet everything you touch is connected. No one, not even scientists who study this stuff knows why so many of the hallucinations mimic each other or why so many user and lab reports mention so many of the same elements and themes. Early shamanism around the globe used psychoactive shit on the regular in order to connect to the world around them. Some of this led to terrible choices, some revelations that moved land and people. The history of breaking the 4th plateau is an intresting read.

Wouldn’t individuals of the same species have very similar anatomy inside their head, and very similar biology generally? Seems straightforward to consider that that plays a big factor: brains are similar, so the experiences they have given similar chemicals are also similar.

I think the same too, that every life is recycled in some way, that as we die we can explore across time and space but without the body to tie ourselves to the physical plane we eventually lose our individuality and rejoin some gestalt ball of life energy before being reborn again to learn something new the next go around. And for some old souls who’ve been through this spin cycle a few times, they can get better and better at remembering who they were each time, with the most practiced at this being like the Dalai Lama

I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t think it’s a zero sum system, or at least one that is running at max capacity. I’m thinking moreso every life, all life energy, not just human ends up coalescing and also grows over time. And when we pray or meditate or take psychedelics, and sometimes we also experience some sort of connection with something greater than ourselves, I believe that collective life energy is what we’re tapping into, only for some people they might call it God, for some it might be their ancestral spirits, for some it might be a deeper part of their subconscious. But I think we’re all tapping into the same thing, and that it’s where we come from, and it’s where we’ll return to after our passing. And then if we want to grow a bit more or if theres more lessons that we need to learn, we may manifest ourselves in another life, human or otherwise. Honestly this is just what I think, I’m not trying to convince you one way or another, it’s how I can reconcile my own experiences with the commonalities I’ve noticed in the experiences of life and death of those around me, regardless of creed or culture.

Omg this reminds me of my friends son when he was still an infant. He didn’t have the philosopher face but would be seemingly entranced by fire. Like he would look at a candle or a fireplace or something and was hypnotized by it. My buddy had those citronella tiki torches on his patio to keep the bugs away so we would take turns holding the baby and standing close to the torches (but obviously plenty far enough that he could not reach them). He’d get the trance look in his eye and reach his arms out to try and grab the flame. We’d do something similar to you and give intense shaman monologues like “Bring me to the flame so I may commune with my ancestors”. He would sometimes make those weird baby noises and make baby movements which just added to the effect. Now he’s 8 and can actually speak and shit so torch time is no longer a thing. But it was fun while it lasted lol.
