Similar energy

Last Saturday, my buddy Jake decided to host a game night where he insisted that everyone bring their “A-game.” Naturally, this turned into a serious showdown of Pictionary. Picture it: me, channeling my inner Picasso, drawing a stick figure in a tornado, while Jake, overzealous as ever, pulls out a not-so-subtle robotic arm attachment he made himself, complete with a mini tablet for digital accuracy. The rest of us sat there laughing, half-puzzled, as he dramatically shouted, “It’s a funnel cloud, obviously!”
The absurdity of Jake’s high-tech Pictionary strategies clashed hilariously with my abstract tornado art. In that moment, we realized we all had the same energy for the night—enthusiastic, yet vastly different in execution. By the end, we were all crying from laughter, battling with drawings that resembled a cross between modern art and a toddler’s doodle—Jake proudly brandishing his robot arm, while my stick figure still looked like it was flying over a taco stand. Same energy, different chaos!
