Last weekend, my buddy Tim decided it was time to tackle his infamous “unmanageable” backyard. Armed with nothing but a lawnmower and an idea he had awoken the night before, he thought he could trim both the grass and the overgrown hedges at once. After a few moments of preparation, he hopped onto his trusty mower, secured a pair of goggles on his face that were meant for jet skiing, and revved it up. Off he zoomed into a perfect chaos, sending clippings everywhere but the lawn bag, which promptly exploded like a confetti cannon.
As the mower spewed out grass like a party gone wrong, neighbors stepped outside to witness Tim’s accidental gardening disaster. He zoomed in circles, frantically trying to catch clumps of grass flying through the air, while yelling, “I’m just testing out a new strategy!” But the real comedy was the sight of his dog, Max, trying to catch the airborne grass with the enthusiasm of a squirrel on caffeine, clearly oblivious to the fact that he was the only one having fun. Tim may not have “managed” anything, but he certainly invented a new way to throw a yard party!
