Last Halloween, I thought it would be hilarious to host a “scary” movie night with a twist: we would reenact the themes of the films we watched. For “The Shining,” my friend Bob came dressed as Jack Nicholson wielding a toy axe, while Sue showed up as a ghost with an old sheet and eyeholes that were clearly too small. Things escalated when we decided to watch “Jaws.” Bob, still in character, pretended to be the shark, flopping around on the floor. Meanwhile, I donned a lifeguard outfit and yelled out lifeguard jargon, creating a chaotic scene in my living room that was more slapstick than spine-chilling.
The combination of a haunted hotel and shark attacks set the stage for a ridiculous spectacle. Everyone was trying to take their roles seriously, but between Bob’s attempts to “sneak up” on us by flapping around and Sue gliding past with a disconcerting combination of grace and awkwardness, we couldn’t stop laughing. By the time we got to “The Exorcist,” we were all just a bunch of friends rolling on the floor, exorcising our own tension with bellies full of popcorn – and no real horror in sight, just a lot of creativity and giggles.

Theme enhances the intensity.

K
Just before the fade to black, should have shot him point blank to his face. Still fake but reaction would have been funny enough to overlook it.
F
Or the third guy with his back turned. *that* would be perfect
N
Yeah second this, while sitting with the other guy he should have done it to the third guy in the background lol
R
And place the gun at his first target’s feet so he takes the blame.
N
YESSS!!!! I thought the same, that would have been pure drama 😆😆😆
W
I think that turns it from fake to just a legit skit
L
Pure cinema.
A
I was waiting for him to shoot underneath the table.
B
its missing some kind of reveal at the end
S
Wait for part 2
D
But like.. who’s recording?
M
The invisible camera man of cause.
A
Can confirm, I’ve seen movies that had film crews in the hundreds and none of the actors saw any of them.
B
The guy hiding in the cardboard box from the proposal skits
S
Kira through a bag of chips
M

L
Ok fine, I’ll watch it again.
A
I need to watch it again too I’ve only seen it the once, but I remember being kinda disappointed with the second half of the show L was such an awesome adversary against Kira. The next detectives seemed second rate
A

Push K1 to dry off.
F
Staged but actually hilarious. He should have shot him under the table at the end.
S
Tiger stripe shirt guy has murder vibes… I don’t know how saying ‘its a prank, bro!’ would go down.
N
Does anyone have the link for a similar prank but with the guy dumping flour on himself and someone else on the street? That was the original and the best.
S
Good acting. Nice story line. Title not saying “check out this authentic crazy things that just happened”. 5/5 skit.
D
This is a fucking masterpiece
L
I think I have an idea why this guy has a bandage on his head.
B
Scripted obviously but Very nicely done
T
Staged? Sure. Pure gold? Absolutely! This has a better plot and story than Starfleet Academy.
A
Every Star Trek has been garbage in the last ten years and the starfleet academy trailer might make my father quit life
B
I thought Lower Decks was pretty interesting
Y
>~~ten~~ thirty years FTFY.
A
Whats in the h20 gun?? Guy keeps smelling it like its piss or something, f*ckin amazing. Absolutely perfect score. Turns bald guy into instant villain. …just mad doggin the guy the entire time, like hes about to call in a team of henchmen to rip bandage head apart… Bandage head played this off perfectly
A
death note theme song is diabolical
I
It’s a sketch about a trickster archetype.
K
By the bandage on his forehead looks like he should stop the dumbshit before he gets an arm cut-off.
M
Theme “ Low of solipsism “ by Yoshihisa Hirano
S
L, do you know, God’s of death, like apples
J
The ending reminded me of The Thing which is my fav movie of all time, so this was extra funny because of it lol
M
Great editing!
R
What defect in man compels him to race to the comment section to label a video as fake? Will this persist when our content is all generated by AI? Will these poor fools become stuck in some infinite loop of crying fake vid?!
