There’s always something happening in Shanghai.

Last summer, I decided to explore the bustling streets of Shanghai. One evening, I wandered into a local food market, excited to try the famous stinky tofu. As I took a bite, a pigeon swooped down, mistaking my tofu for a late-night snack. In a panic, I swung my arm to shoo it away, but in my clumsiness, I ended up flinging the tofu right into the lap of an unsuspecting tourist sitting nearby.
The look on his face was priceless—like he’d just been served an unexpected delicacy from a food fight! The pigeon, unfazed, landed triumphantly on a nearby stall, as if to say, “Mission accomplished!” Meanwhile, I was left mortified, trying to apologize while the crowd erupted in laughter. It turns out, nothing breaks the ice in a foreign city quite like an airborne snack attack!
