This cat in my niece’s judo lesson

My niece was all geared up for her judo class, determined to show off her new moves. As soon as they began, a fluffy tabby wandered in, apparently oblivious to the seriousness of the situation. While the kids were throwing each other around like rag dolls, this cat casually perched itself right in the center of the mat, flicking its tail like it owned the place. My niece tackled her opponent, only to have the cat unceremoniously paw at her face mid-sumo roll—proving once and for all that even black belts respect a cat’s territory!
The juxtaposition of my niece’s intense focus on her judo techniques, contrasted with the cat’s nonchalant lounging, was a comedy of errors. The serious instructors were trying their best to maintain order when one kid yelled, “Look! It’s a judo cat!” and everyone just lost it, bursting into laughter while the cat kept napping like it was auditioning for a role in a catnip commercial. In the end, no one learned grappling techniques, but they all learned how to be schooled by a furry little coach!

If you can dodge a cat, you can dodge a ball.

If you can dodge a cat you could probably dodge a bullet.

I aspire to this level of unbothered. He’s also probably hoping for some drive-by pets and scritches.

Looked a bit spooked at the end, most likely had no idea.

Teaching some very good discipline to those kids to have all of them just run past and not reach down to rub it’s belly. I’m sure a few kids have fallen prey to that trap at some point though.

You can tell this cat is well cared for from how trusting he is. Brings a smile to my face.

I have a cow cat that looks similar and that’s exactly how she. I was telling her the other day that she has too much confidence in my coordination but she seemed unbothered lol
