I was rummaging through a box of old memorabilia when I stumbled upon a baby photo of myself, complete with a huge smile and an awkward slice of birthday cake smeared across my face. My mom insisted on taking a million pictures that day, and in every one, I somehow managed to look like I was auditioning for a role as a sugar-rushed raccoon. I decided to post the gem on social media, thinking it would be a cute throwback.
Little did I know, my friends *loved* it and immediately jumped in with comments about my “cake face couture.” Suddenly, everyone was sharing their own baby photos, and before long, a chaotic thread of candid childhood moments erupted, with one friend revealing that he once had a bowl haircut that made him look like a walking mop. It was like a baby photo competition that nobody signed up for, but we all agreed on one thing: if any of us ever ran for office, we were definitely doomed!
