I’ve seen this one in real life and let me tell you it looks way worse in person

Why does it exist?!

Guy did a bunch as a joke and now at car meets he lets people add to it for the ridiculousness.

Thats pretty cool. Makes a lot more sense than possibly squeezing out any extra mph.

The only thing squeezing mph out of this thing is taking everything off

S
SumpCrab • 35 points
Yeah, but it can drive upside down with that much downforce. Like an f1 car.

Na brother every new “carbon fiber” addition adds 10 horsepower don’t you know? /s

Aero loses mph. Proper aero just improves downforce and thus grip.

Thanks for that info. I see it somewhat regularly but never knew it was a joke… I had a feeling, but let me tell you about a red similarly-themed Scion iA in Inglewood that was *not* a joke… hard to tell what’s serious or not now

Honestly, I’m surprised it’s out on public roads. At least where I live, it’s illegal to have protuberances that could harm pedestrians in a collision, and this would definately fail the test. Some folk got their cars defected a while back for things like solar panels with sharp edges (more like ones you’d mount to a house roof than the flush ones designed for cars) and bumper-mounted fishing rod holders (steel tubes that cause injury or prevent people from rolling over the car when struck).

Yeah the old German hand grenade holders have been a no-no for a while now.

America has some incredibly lax car regulations compared with Straya that’s for sure

Especially with respect to pedestrian injury. Pedestrians are basically subhuman, legally speaking.

Someone way too old to do all that lol

Isn’t that totally illegal owing to the extreme damage it would do to a pedestrian in a collision.

Dude he has extra mirrors in that crap! Yup…this side mirror on the lower door is gonna add so much downforce and vision.

W
Watada • 12 points
The extra side mirrors are needed because his normal ones can’t see past the stuff on his car.

What do you think?
