What in the world….
in WTF
Wait, what just happened…?

J
I don’t understand why the same video was replayed at a lower quality as a screencap a second time
L
Youll go crazy trying to understand why people do what they do.. its like their odd behavior and choices are lovecraftian levels of maddening
B
What’s crazy is when you realize how many people in the world literally have zero level of metacognition. Like never ever even once thinking about thinking or why they are doing what they are doing. Autopilot.

T
AI and Deez Nuts maybe.
E
Maybe to show that it’s not AI?
N
How would that show it’s not AI?
J
Because someone that made this video with AI would never think that proves it’s not AI, so wouldn’t go through all that trouble to make a second version of the same video just to not prove it isn’t AI.
S
Or why the footage of the crash was so zoomed in and cropped. You can’t make a damn thing out
M
> Or why the footage of the crash was so zoomed in and cropped. That’s what makes me doubt that the cartoonish action wasn’t created digitally.
M
To show it’s not AI.
M
I’d guess that they wanted to show the slowed down version but didn’t know how to do it, so had to find a version of it that was already slowed down, but it was of lower quality.
E
As a proof that it was recorded in video.
M
It isn’t like you couldn’t just copy a video file onto the device’s sd card after all. Oh wait.
I
Same with all the text conversations, you can Google websites that will let you build a fake chat exchange
C
Probably to make it seem less fake?
B
Proves it’s not AI at least
F
Usually it happens when people have a catalog of pics/videos of something then try to put them into a single clip without fully reviewing the sources/end result. This, this, and, I guess, this; save; upload
F
The real wtf
A
because when it starts replaying the video you realize you get a better shot of it so you watch the first part a second time. tiktok/shorts/erc falsely think that means this is a good clip since users are watching it more than once and so it recommends it to more people. because replaying a video is seen as a good video, it means every popular video tends to do things that make you want to watch it again. ending with a crappy version of the very start of the video does that.
J
Why didn’t they just download it off the fucking dashcam??

Dramatic effect
I
More like shitty effect. Nothing dramatic about it.
S
I respect your opinion:)
T
Someone threw a car at this person what the hell.
F
How fast do you have to be going to not only go airborne but gain that much height and distance? Holy crap.
A
That’s the first thing I thought, I was hoping the dash cam would run long enough for us to see the “take off” point because I can only guess that there’s no ramp. Even if there was a ramp though, to get that kind of distance airborne is WILD.
N
Hey Booker, catch!
D
That’s an old reference, sir, but I’ll allow it
S
Lots of Chinese EVs have 600+ hp, some have four digit amounts of horsepower. It takes them basically no time to hit three digit speeds, which this one quite probably had.
T
I bet he deserved it
