I can’t believe she broke through it! That was the shittiest windshield I have ever seen. I remember as a kid trying to break a windshield off an abandoned wreck in a field, using a boulder. We slammed that thing many, many times and just ended up with dents held together by a rubber film. I’ve never seen glass break away from a windshield like that before.

They way it cracked didn’t look like safety glass, must be some cheap as dangerous aftermarket glass.

A passenger once cracked my windshield by swatting a mosquito on it. I think their ring caused it. Some times a hit on the right spot can do it.

I feel bad for this lady, she is seriously ill, and many people in this country with mental illness just don’t get the help they need. My mother had either Bi-Polar or BPD, and was an alcoholic. I saw her do similar if not so extreme things. I had an eventful childhood to say the least.

I went through that but with my wife. Currently going through divorce. Her behavior didn’t even cause me to leave. It was another affair. Though I’m heartbroken and alone, I celebrate the fact that I don’t have to deal with stuff like this anymore.

Its actually pretty easy to break a windshield and that is by design. You want the glass to give if you happen to do a faceplant into it during an accident. Side windows, those are the strong ones.

Can confirm first hand. When I was young and immature got into an argument with a girlfriend and punched the windshield from the drivers seat. I didn’t think I hit it that hard. Did open my eyes to not get that pissed off especially over stupid shit.

Technically true, but not really. Glass isn’t magic. It’s the same material on the inside as the outside of the plastic layer. That said, the fact that the inside of the windshield is slightly concave vs slightly convex on the outside does make it very *slightly* harder to break from the outside. But it’s probably not noticeable physically.
